Way to go, Dad

A brief brag about my husband, soul mate and father of my child.

Andy won the inaugural Kiwanian of the Year award from his club this week for his instrumental help in getting it organized, chartered and otherwise started up last year. It was a big deal, as it involved the spinning off a group from a long-established club where Andy has a lot of friends.

He was surprised by the honor. And thanks to a tip-off from one of the other key organizers (whose husband also was honored), I was able to be at the lunch to witness his embarrassment. It's not often that Andy is speechless.
