The 'Do It Again!' kid

It's easy to tell when Niranjana likes something we do because she says, "Do it again!" It might be something like holding her upside-down or throwing a ball up on a roof. It might simply be us tickling her.

If she is happy with the action, inevitably, she says, "Do it again!"

The other evening, I was grilling steaks and asparagus. For the asparagus, I put the spears in foil, drizzle with olive oil and put it on the grill. I was trying to scoop the foil packet off the grill when I accidentally tore the bottom of the foil. All the olive oil quickly drained out, and an impressive fireball poofed out of the grill.

At just that moment, Niranjana walked out of the house. She watched the flames, gasped, then said, "Do it again, Daddy!"

No way. Not if I can help it.
