Sparkle in Daddy's Eye

For Father's Day, Andy got a bowl painted by Niranjana and with her handprint. He got a baseball (from school) also with Niranjana's handprint. And he got a new beverage appliance — and it has nothing to do with wine.

"Sparkle water" at our house has entailed countless blue aluminum cans of Big K sparkling water from Fred Meyer. The recycling piles up with the cans plus the bottles of sugar-free Torani syrup (also used to flavor lattes). Niranjana loves this stuff, and we caved early on by letting her have it. It's a nightly ritual. We no longer buy soda pop, just sparkle water.

Andy now is the Sparkle Master, with his very own Sparkle Water machine. Fizzy!!
