Child-proofing we hadn't considered

When we built this house in 2002, we selected a chandelier called "Galileo," which is about 20 feet off the ground. Little did we think of the consequences of our little 4-year-old explorer tossing a balloon toward it from upstairs and getting it stuck. Melissa managed to extricate it with a broom a few minutes after we took this photo.
